Updated League of American Bicyclists Membership Form

When the League of American Bicyclists migrated from Member Nation into NPSP, it was time for a new membership form. Based on the usability and design of another online form that the League identified, Scott worked with designer Nicole Aue of 45th Parallel Design to render a similar design in FormAssembly.

The membership form has an interactive design that allows potential or renewing

members to select from a large number of potential membership types with associated benefits and premiums. Renewals are accomplished either by parameterized direct links or with a lookup function that offers several ways to find expiring memberships. The form also allows renewal options for League-certified cycling instructors, and the ability to automatically renew membership annually.

Membership data is passed into a custom object in Salesforce for internal processing via Apex. The internal processing includes matching memberships with existing Accounts and Contacts, creating Opportunities and Payments, and updating membership expiration dates.
